Steven Herweyer Bio


Born and raised in Central Virginia, Steven Herweyer has spent his life in service to others. A graduate of the Navy Nuclear Power Program, he spent 8 years and 8 months as a Nuclear Electronics Technician and submarine Reactor Operator onboard the USS Casimir Pulaski and USS Sturgeon. After serving in his country the U.S. Navy and 14 years of further experience as radiological control technician in the civilian nuclear industry, he entered the financial services industry in 2006 where he continues to serve his clients, assisting them to build and live better financial lives.

He combines the critical thinking learned from the Navy Nuclear Power Program with an ability to breakdown complex financial concepts into bite sized chunks that everyone can understand and put to practical use.

Steven is a Retirement Income Certified Professional® and Chartered Financial Consultant® as conferred by the American College. He helps clients develop financial plans to navigate their course towards their goals, whether they involve investments, financial planning, Medicare assistance, annuities or life insurance.

Steven also gives back to his community as a member of his local church and Rotary.
