SUMMER PICNIC 

Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 12 PM

South Pavilion, “The Crossings” Park, Colonie

Come join us for an afternoon of good food, friendship and fun. It has been a long two years and we have a lot of catching up to do.

There is no charge and CDPSG will provide hamburgers, kosher hot dogs and vegetarian skewers. We will also provide soda and bottled water.

In 2019, members were generous and there was some food left over - please err on the side of lower amounts of food and keep track of your dish in order that you can take any leftovers home.

Volunteers

We will need 2 or 3 people to volunteer to cook and 3 or 4 others to assist with set up, take down and clean up.  Please let Ian Wing know if you are willing to assist. Email is above.

As in 2019 we are asking that each person/family unit/ group of friends bring appetizers, salads and desserts sufficient for your group and  1 or 2 others. These will be shared by all.  Please keep track of your dish so that you can take any left overs home.

If your last name begins with:

A - C    Please bring chips and dip

D - F     Please bring “non chip” appetizer e.g. veg tray, hummus

G - J     Please bring a starch salad - e.g. potato, pasta or rice

K - N     Please bring a green salad

O - R     Please bring coleslaw

S  - V     Please bring pie or cookies

W - Z     Please bring a dessert appropriate for a warm summers day e.g. fruit salad

We’re looking forward to a fun day.

Follow the park road 6/10 mile to the end. 

You will see the pavilion from there.
