Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of the  Parkinson’s Center YMCA — a new space dedicated to empowering those living with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.

With over a decade of experience offering Parkinson’s-specific programming, the Capital District YMCA is actively expanding its commitment to community wellness through this center designed to meet both physical and emotional needs in one inclusive, empowering environment. The center will serve those with Parkinson's and other movement disorder diagnoses, as well as their families, at no cost.

These programs are an opportunity for patients with

Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia, and

their family members, to learn about the benefits and risks

of DBS therapy from Albany Medical Center’s functional

neurosurgeon and movement disorder neurologist.
