Parkinson’s Research with Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (“PRIDE”) focuses on understanding the health and health care needs of the LGBTQIA+ and non-LGBTQIA+ communities living with Parkinson’s disease. We are asking people living with Parkinson’s and those who help with their care to do a 45-minute survey over the phone. Dr. McIsaac is recruiting for a qualitative study on the lived experiences regarding Healthcare access of people with Parkinson disease (PD) identifying as LGBTQ+, non-LGBTQ+ people with PD, care partners, and healthcare providers. The study will be looking to interview (by Zoom) people from across the U.S., from urban and rural areas and from across the socioeconomic spectrum."
