Contacting any of these folks will allow you to speak directly to a person that has expertise to get you help for a variety of needs. A good “first call” for any non-emergency questions.

3. Albany County Department for Aging, Matthew Hanrahan, 518 447-7198. He can direct you to other counties’ resources as well.
4. Alzheimer’s Association, caregiver and referral services, Shannon Lawler, (518) 867-4999 ext. 306. Serving needs of those dealing with Parkinson’s and other conditions, not restricted to Alzheimer’s.
