We meet at 7 PM on the second Thursday of most months. Most meetings are in-person at the Glen Eddy Senior Living Community, (Directions) and by ZOOM. Subscribe (at the bottom of the page) to get a meeting reminder and other news.
Our mission is:

PRESENTER: Drug Rep for Duopa
TOPIC: Duopa is a prescription drug that treats Parkinson's disease (PD) by delivering carbidopa and levodopa directly into the small intestine through a surgically implanted tube. This gel is intended to improve absorption and reduce "off" times, which are changes in movement abilities as the levodopa dose wanes. Duopa bypasses the stomach, which can empty slowly and irregularly in Parkinson's, leading to poor absorption and unpredictable relief with drugs taken by mouth.

This meeting will be a hybrid meeting.
